We headed to the Wichita Art Museum for free admission Saturday. There is a lot of various types of art. When you walk into the entrance, there is a ceiling of colored glass pieces above you. When you get onto the second floor, you can take your shoes off and walk over the colored glass--it is sandwiched between two pieces of solid, clear glass. When you visit the museum, take your cell phone. There are areas you can call a number and they will give information about the artwork you are currently observing. There is also a nice children's area where kids can work on creating their own art.
