143. Mushroom State Park

Our first stop on September 17 was Mushroom Rock State Park.  This was our fourth adventure of the four "rock" sites to visit in Kansas.  http://kansas150th-150thingstodoinkansas.blogspot.com/2011/07/98-castle-rock-and-badlands.html,  http://kansas150th-150thingstodoinkansas.blogspot.com/2011/09/116-rock-city.htmlhttp://kansas150th-150thingstodoinkansas.blogspot.com/2011/10/141-mounment-rocks-and-keystone-gallery.html  In fact, Angel thought the rocks here reminded her very much of the rocks at Rock City.  The kiddos had a great time.  They love anything that involves climbing and exploring.  In fact, our son asked if we were doing anything with rocks again this month or next.  How sad they will be when they realize we have already seen all four famous "rock" sites.  We'll just have to keep going to places we can climb and explore whether we're doing adventures or not.

Check out the flag in the rock
