121. Bartlett Aboretum

Our journeys on August 6 were all on our travels home after picking up our daughter at church camp in Andover that morning.  Our first adventure was a Bartlett Arboretum.  When we called to see if they were open, the machine said "open by appointment or accident."  We were so fortunate to find them open by accident.  This has been an exceptionally hot summer and was hot on this day, so we couldn't wander around for hours.  However, the Arboretum is gorgeous and so green at this time of year.  It would be fun to visit during different seasons to see how the plants change through the year.  We loved wondering around, but words can't do it justice.  The pictures will have to do.

We found an elephant and weren't even on an elephant hunt!
