2011 was KS' 150th birthday. We traveled to various places in the state/experiencing 150+ things (Castle Rock, Salt Museum, Cosmosphere, Scenic Byways, Ms. Wheelchair KS Pageant, etc.). {COPYRIGHTS/INTELLECTUAL PROPERTIES CONTAINED HEREIN ARE OWNED BY THEIR RESPECTIVE ENTITIES, our personal thoughts on these activities are not necessarily shared by everyone, please judge for yourselves.} CLICK PICTURES FOR LARGER VIEW, THEN BROWSER BACK TO RETURN! Still Planning
We are still on this adventure, but are stalled at this moment, because we were dumped on with snow last night. So, we'll just stay inside all warm and cozy and dream about where we will visit this year. Thank you to all of you who provided some great ideas for our adventure. Between those great ideas (keep 'em coming), the Kansas Official Visitor's Guide, and the Kansas Guidebook for Explorers by Marci Penner we are coming up with tons of ideas. We are very excited to get to explore our great state and see things we've never visited (even though Eric and I have lived here most of our lives). We're also excited about sharing with our children some of the great memories from our childhoods. I can't wait to begin exploring our great state.

Are you going to Castle Rock?
That is the plan later on when the weather is warmer...
