There are several War Memorials in Wakeeney. We visited them to get a bit of history. This is not the children's favorite part of this adventure, but they are good sports.
The last picture didn't turn out great because of the sunset, but it was very nice that all gravestones were the same size and shape and each grave had a wreath decorating it. The uniformity added a sense of peace and reverance.
